ARLIS/NA Ontario Conference Travel Grant 2016

The Travel Award Committee welcomes applications from members who plan to attend the 3rd Joint ARLIS/NA + VRA conference in Seattle, Washington March 8-12, 2016: http://www.arlisna-vra.org/seattle2016/index.php

The 2016 award is for $750 CDN. Because the conference is earlier this year, the deadline is SOON! – February 5th, 2016.  We will announce the successful recipient and contact shortly thereafter, so that plans can be made ASAP.

The award is intended to promote professional development among chapter members and to encourage their involvement in ARLIS/NA by helping to defray the expense of attending the conference.

To apply for an award, please submit:

  • A letter of application indicating the conference for which you seek funding and addressing relevant eligibility and award criteria. The application should include brief descriptions of your professional interests, your expectations of the conference, and its relevance to your professional development.
  • An estimate of your conference expenses and amount of any institutional funding.
  • A one-page resume listing your employment history, educational background, and professional activities. Include your preferred mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
