Feature Contemporary Art Fair Visual Literacy talk and tour!

Fall in Toronto always provides ample opportunity for engaging with Arts and Culture. As a way to get in on the action and bring our members together, we’re hoping to wrangle a group to attend a talk and tour at the Feature Contemporary Art Fair on Sunday, October 25 at 1pm.

The talk, “Visual Literacy: A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words,” presented by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery Innovation Lab, draws upon research in education, the arts, museum studies, and digital communication to address gaps in education through the concept of visual literacy. The talk starts at 2pm in the historic Joey and Tobey Tanenbaum Opera Centre. Prior to this, we can join a tour of the fair at 1pm (at the same location).

The cost is $13, which provides access to the talk, tour and the entire fair for the whole day. However, if we have a large enough group, we may be able to receive a group discount.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Catherine at treasurer.arlisna.ontario@gmail.com!
