We are looking for a student representative from each of the University of Toronto’s iSchool and Western University’s Faculty of Information and Media Studies. Student representatives are part of the Chapter Executive, and are expected to represent the ARLIS Ontario chapter to the student bodies at their respective schools, engaging in promotions for the Chapter and art librarianship as a whole. It is an excellent opportunity to liaise with and meet art librarians in Ontario, and to gain exposure to the field of art librarianship. The time commitment is modest, but the exposure is invaluable.
The nomination period is open until Friday, September 12th at 5:00 pm. Following the closure of the nomination window, an e-mail will be circulated with the names and statements of interest from candidates with a link to vote. After the voting period ends, the successful candidates will be announced.
