Call for Submissions – ARLIS/ON Travel Award 2012
Two Travel Awards of $300 each will be offered this year by the Ontario Chapter of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA). The award is intended to promote professional development and encourage involvement among chapter members in ARLIS/NA, by helping to defray the expense of attending ARLIS/NA’s annual conference. Hosted in Toronto, Ontario, from March 29-April 2, 2012, Colouring Outside the Lines will be ARLIS/NA’s 40th Annual Conference. To apply for an award, please submit:
- A letter of application indicating the conference for which you seek funding and addressing relevant eligibility and award criteria. The application should include brief descriptions of your professional interests, your expectations of the conference, and its relevance to your professional development.
- An estimate of your conference expenses and amount of any institutional funding.
- A one-page résumé listing your employment history, educational background, and professional activities. Include your preferred mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

Deadline for Applications: due by 5pm Tuesday, February 14th, 2012
(Recipients will be notified on February 20th, well before the early bird conference registration deadline on March 7th)
